Fascinating Sydney

  Does anyone believe in luck? I bet you better do. You can called me superstitious but guess what? I've won a free complimentary stay 3 days 2 night at The Grace Hotel, Sydney.   It was a very exciting and enjoyable experience for me as this is my first to western countries. I've been to Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam before but aren't much culture differences. Return airport transfer by train.    My beautiful journey to Australia was accompanied by two good friends of mine. We explore the charming down under of through 3 cities within 9 days. We went as backpackers instead of taking tour packages as there is more freedom.   However, the hassle part of travelling to Australia might be its inconvenience due to its strict rules imposed by their immigration. Song Pyeon, a traditional rice cakes for Chuseok! Today is the important moment for Korean since they are celebratingMid-Autumn Festival. I wish all of you who celebrate this festival, happy mid-autumn festival! Let's take a closer look about this festival! Chuseok, the Korean Thanksgiving is the one of the biggest festival in Korea. The festival is falls on today, 19 September 2013 but the holidays is observed three days starting yesterday till 20 September which makes the long holidays and provide opportunity to spent time with relatives. Since the festival is high season, people should buy the ticket in advance! Speaking of Chuseok, actually Hangawi is the origin name of Chuseok. "Han"  means big and "gawi" means the ides of August in the Lunar Calender (the full harvest moon appears). The celebration is to thankful to the ancestors for the good harvest. Hey..hey..I'm just back from vacation in Australia. 9 days, 3 cities and there some much awesome, beautiful stories to share with u guys! I never thought that I will fly out from Asia continent. For the time being I've been to Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Australia. For me, fly to Australia is by chance. It's start when I won voucher of free complimentary stay in the Grace Hotel, Sydney for 3 days 2 nights.  I can't express the feeling when my name was announced by MC during the lucky draw. I don't know whether I should happy or sad. The voucher only cover the hotel not the flight tickets and I prayed hard to won DSLR camera, which is the second prize for the lucky draw. I should be grateful for won grand prize though.  Of course, flying to Australia will cost more compare travelling to the other SEA regions.
